UPCOMING FEATURES:

A unique design relationship came between Aumiller Youngquist and Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group with the creation of a 24,000 square foot Del Frisco’s Steakhouse in a former historic bank in downtown Philadelphia. Ritter and Shay's award-winning 1924 Beaux-Arts interior sets the historical backdrop to the restaurant's design. Stone cladding and an ornate ceiling were kept intact and further emphasized with the addition of contrasting wood finishes and richly hued furniture and art defining the Del Frisco's brand. At the lower level, one can dine in the wine cellar “vault”, while in the main dining area a mezzanine was added to make use of the volume and height of the space. Each area of the restaurant offers a unique dining experience to the patron: a secluded romantic dinner in the vault or a party celebration amongst friends in one of the red leather clad booths in the mezzanine. The dramatic wine “tower” anchors the main dining space and serves as an architectural element connecting the main and mezzanine levels. The classic yet forward-thinking design along with an excellent dining experience leaves the patrons with a lasting impression. The Del Frisco's New York location was recently featured in Nation's Restaurant News as one of the highest grossing restaurants, despite the economic downturn.
